Default Question about Prophecies

Why do people wish to help me out with quests, when they've already reached level 20? All they say is "lots of stuffs". Seems like the game doesn't end at level 20, I'm eager to know what is next.

What will be the reward for quests after it, or will there be any quests at all? What is the profit you gain by helping noobs? After you reach the level cap do you play for items, or skills, or something that is not present until you reach 20?

Welcome to GW Guru!

Helping low-levels out with quests/missions is a guild recruiting tool. That's one reason why they do it. Some people help with missions because they're on characters from other campaigns and need to do the missions themselves for gaining titles (Guardian of ________),

And yes, getting to level 20 is only the beginning of GW.

*There will be quests.
*XP will always be a reward, and will often be in addition to skills, gold, items (predominantly in Prophecies), and in some instances (not in Prophecies, unfortunately), heroes.

It could be a lot of things. Fun, titles, and guild recruiting/helping mostly. There are probably other reasons.

GW is not based on your character becoming powerful because you've spent heaps of time grinding for XP or equipment. The point is to get players to level 20, at which point everyone is equal in the stats department. That way, the skills you take and how well you use them is what makes you a good player. Levels 1-19 are somewhat of a tutorial.
